Camano Commons Marketplace
The island’s gathering place: pastries, espresso, gifts, art, and ice cream under one roof. Their site carries the marketplace, events, online gift cards, and a podcast.
— Camano Island, Washington
Our old backyard. We lived and worked here for years, and island businesses still run on sites we built.

Wapiti was based in the Stanwood and Camano Island area from 2017 to 2020, and part of our team still calls it home. We know the island’s businesses because we were their neighbors.
Marketplaces, coffee stands, restaurants, and nonprofits: island businesses that serve locals year-round and visitors all summer, and need a site that works for both.
Wapiti is based in Iowa but our team is 100% distributed with members in Arizona, Washington, California, Montana, and Wisconsin. We have the expertise to handle marketing and web design regardless of where you are located in the United States.
While Wapiti focuses on building our clientele here in the USA, our clients serve a global audience, and we support them all the way. We have helped business clients find large-scale growth and nonprofits with outreach in the United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, Haiti, the Netherlands, and Germany.

— Services
Six core services. Several island businesses already run on this work.
Custom pages built around one action: a call, a quote request, or an order. Look and conversion both have to work.
Stores, subscriptions, and wholesale. If you already sell in person, the site should take the same order after hours.
Recurring access for gyms, clubs, and associations. Predictable revenue instead of chasing new traffic every month.
Training sites for teams and instructors who need lessons, tracking, and certificates in one place.
Giving, programs, and donor tools for organizations running on a small staff.
Pages that can rank for the searches your customers actually type, locally and nationally.
— How it works
Part of our team still lives in the Stanwood and Camano Island area, so in-person meetings are easy. Design and build run through the full team, Iowa plus the distributed crew, which means island projects get real capacity, not a one-person shop.
We work nationally. Camano Island is where part of our story happened, and we still take care of it.
