Anyone that knows me, knows one thing is for sure: I LOVE to talk. Seriously, if I could get paid to just talk and give my opinions on anything and everything, that would be how I would make my living. A guy can dream...
"Hey Dan, why are you wasting my time with this nonsense?"
Glad you asked. See, you actually can make money by talking into a microphone. Do you or others consider you an expert in your industry? Are you like me and just enjoy chatting it up at any opportunity? Turn that passion into marketing and, ultimately make money podcasting!
Sure, you can create online courses and there are other ways to make money by chatting but Wapiti has just recently added podcasting to our areas of expertise and I have to say - it's one of my new favorite ways to market my own business.
Take that old content, pull up a microphone, open GarageBand (or Audacity for you Windows folks), and record away. Turn the words you typed a while back into new content to add to the internet and, ultimately, to help you sell your products or services.
Here's an example of a blog post that I created a podcast recording from on Wapiti's website:
Google Workspace for Professional Photographers.
There is a bit of setup - but it's pretty much that easy. Of course, you'll want to market your podcast so it can, in turn, market your business.
