When Lisa approached Wapiti to build a new family blog website, she had big plans for the future of her site. She wanted to ensure that the site kept a warm, conversational feel like many blogs do but she also wanted it to look professional and be organized in a professional manner as she intended to monetize it with cookbooks and more. We took a survey of features and designs that she liked and set out to make the perfect blog for her.
Since Lisa works with a lot of large, professional images, we built automated controls to scale newly uploaded images and compress them automatically. This helps her photo-heavy library remain lightweight while preserving the original quality of the images she has uploaded. As time passed, we've started to add in functionality that she had been planning including a full event system complete with a ticket sales component.
