Matthew Land is a professional photographer based in Bellingham, WA. He travels around the globe for his clients and needed a clean wedding photographer website that both highlighted his photography and also showed the extent of his global reach. He had a big challenge in the process. As a photographer, he uses many high-resolution images to show off his work and the size of these large images made his old site run slower and slower as he added more to each page.

Wapiti built a custom website specifically for Matthew's needs. We included a full-screen slideshow on the homepage that highlighted some of his favorite images. We created a portfolio page that loads hundreds of images per portfolio quickly. We even added an Instagram-style blog to his site for quick updates and highlights. Each page was loaded with beautiful images and we worked hard to ensure they loaded as quickly as possible. This resulted in one of our most challenging projects that we not only succeeded at, but we blew away all expectations.
